The DRU Agua F100 gas stove is a unique, contemporary gas stove that looks great in your living room and has the capacity to reduce the power consumption of your central heating and domestic hot water supply.
This stove uses a powered flue system, has a generous 9.2 kW heat output and 95% efficiency. It is compatible with natural gas and LPG, features the distinctive DRU log fire bed with high natural flames and is operated by electronic remote control.
Agua fires and stoves can be used simply as luxury gas fires. However, they really come into their own when used as a supplementary source of water heating, either by connection to a buffer tank or directly into a wet system.
The fires are enclosed by a ‘water jacket’ or heat exchanger. Water enters the heat exchanger from the mains, is heated by convection from the fire chamber and then sent to a buffer tank. This is turn can be used to top up a domestic boiler, or directly feed into a wet central heating system.
Further economies can be made by linking the buffer tank to a renewable energy source, such as solar panels, all of the while reducing domestic gas consumption.
It all adds up to a luxury gas stove that will make your home warmer and more energy efficient at the same time.
